G-Dragon, born in 1988, is leader of popular group, BIG BANG. His real name is Kwon Ji Yong. Yong stands for Dragon in Korean and thus his stage name. In my personal opinion, he’s one of the most talented idol singer in Kpop now. He has numerous popular songs under his name including Lies, A Fool, But I Love You, Last Farewell, Haru Haru, This Love, Strong Baby, etc. All these songs dominated the Kpop music charts.

my take on it…

GD’s also a fashion icon, having set many trends himself. some good, some..not that awesome. This boy has always had a great sense of style..

 

 

however,  recently some of his fashion choices have been appalling, and less than impressive.

 

 

 

yes, even his ever-changing hairstyle. from ahjumma to popcorn to mohawk to I-dunno-what..

 

Still, I guess you can say he never gives a sh*t about what anyone thinks of his sense of fashion. C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-C-E

 

I’m not too sure about his leadership skills, but I assume he must be pretty easy going since he lets T.O.P punch him during their CF shoot. OUCH!!

and yet manages to assert his authority in front of maknae, Seungri

also he apparently postponed his solo album because of Big Bang’s activities. putting his group before himself. a worthy leader.

BUT

there ARE still some stuff  G-dragon should take note of lest it threatens his position as leader in Big Bang.. 

1) His “depression” and suicidal cyworld entries

you can see at the sidebar,  there is female doll with a pair of scissors plunged into her and in a pool of blood. Also in the middle picture there is boy with his face covered with a paper bag, and holding a flower.
 

2) Getting bored and fooling around at a radio show during album promotions

3) Making fun of his members on stage during a performance (okay, daesung was pretty funny)

4) Stealing the limelight from his fellow members with his unique outfits. ohwells, he probably deserves it since he has composed so many songs for Big Bang.

5) Failing as a girl

I don’t care what the fans say otherwise, but Kwon Ji Yong does not look good as a nose-digging princess.

 

still, we can’t deny this boy does have amazing talents. in dance, singing, composing, rapping. u name it..he’s an all-rounder.

Conclusion: A charismatic leadership style. One who awes others with his talent, and has a natural ability to attract people.
